hi everyone im cal from leeds (hence the original username haha)
i currently own a nissan skyline r33 gtst and use this as my drift car, but lately i have been thinking about getting an fd instead, always loved them but need more info on them, which brings me to the reason i came on here. i hate it when you ask somebody about a new car and as soon as you mention rx.... they jump to the rotary engine being terrible ect... but i would rather talk to owners about it and not people that read things on the internet and dont actually own or never have owned a rotary :)
cheers all

Mir

Hi Mate

Welcome to the club and all that Jazz. Those who speak wrongly of rotary engine are just ignorant parrots. They repeat what others tell them and run their mouths for sucking cause.

Rotary is indeed a reliable engine. It only becomes unreliable when it\'s owned by a unreliable owner.

All you need is a decent builder, good mapper and regulator check on an oil and water change. I am sure piston engine is not far from the above needs.

I would say before buying any Rotary powered car, try to find a history of it. A history of a car will tell you a thousand words. Unless off course, you are looking at building one from a ground up.

Whichever way you go, I wish you a best of luck

Hi matey, welcome :chat please buy an FD as I\'m from as it would nice seeing another one in the road sometimes since I\'m not too far from you lol. But be prepared for some if he highest highs and the lowest lows, it\'s all part if FD ownership! Regards Qadir.

PS. Be sure to speak to the bank manager and extend the limit on the overdraft and visa card!! Lol
