Steering box gen 1 Rx7

Afternoon all, would I be right in thinking the S2 steering box is ment to be the better one? Is this compatable with the S3 shaft?
The steering box is about the only thing I\'ve never taken off a 7 is it a pretty easy job?

Don\'t know how easy Mark, but the forums all say the S2 was easier to adjust and is thought to be the better box.

I think it\'s compatible but I don\'t know for sure.
