So Casey's the chicken dinner winner winner...
What do you win....hmmmm how about 23.6 kg of redundant wiring...lol..
So when you think this was an already stripped down race car with Bose system elect winds etc if you start from road spec to race spec poss I reckon 100kg easy...
Clive removed the abs unit so that is not included in this total....basically just wiring switches connection blocks and a few modules.

I admire your methodical approach Jon and with comprehensive drawings to boot   :notworthy:. Also your patience. :13:

The first I have in spadefuls, the latter not so much :violent1:.
Sadly no longer with us, RIP Ray, 9 Feb 2021

You know, I really really really want to see how much 8 can lose weight easily. I really believe that it can be done to 1100kg easy... Howerer,  thats alot still. It needs do be around or under 1000kg. And after that roll cage, corner weights and so on, to be really compatible...

Prob offset by weight of cage....but so much road car junk ...you should try a rx8 powered mx5...that seems to be just the right weight loss.

I think an 8 rallycross pumped up on big suspension would be perfect for you..
Why no UK trip? Funds low?

I reckon that quite stock 8 can be compatible in our lower seriesses. But in National Championship,  it needs really heavy mods. Better engine, fibreclass everywhere. Swedes and Norwegians has lots of 8 in rallycross. But I really do believe that it is really good car for basic dirt kicking...

Yeah, really low. And it really pisses me off. I was really looking forward to explore South-East UK...
