Done some reading, Neutral switch staying, ive read will not engage cruise control etc on 8s, maybe more control measure were not aware off so think best to stay...so is it the white or black connectors lol...white im 99% sure.

With all the cable being stripped is the the engine loom becoming completely independent from the car?

I know this would cost more money but does the ecu you run clive have the availability for a stand alone ecu wire in harness?

the loom is independent Grant just 2 power feeds from cabin. 3 plugs direct to ecu. weirdy all electrical devices are on this engine loom bar the Maf which is on the cabin loom. Clive runs 2 ecu's mazda and Adaptronic, there linked by jumper harness. ....i found your omp Clive...lol...think ill put that behind the dash!

Clive, red and black cables to big injectors what's going on here seems to be twin triggers?

Jon I really can't remember, sorry I can only say please keep it the way it is because it works, last thing we need is an injector not working and it runs lean

You have now seen my idiot code so the injectors cant be mixed up, yellow for the front and blue for the back, for the primary's and the secondary's / just like the colours on the car

No Jon, sorry the stand alone Adaptronic is a totally different unit, yes it would all be tidier but we have to live with the ECU's we have I'm afraid.

Got to have the OMP or it will throw a hissy fit

Message recieved.. I have marked the injectors and photos big time.they will go back on where they came from..I will run as is when I check the drawings I think it's twin triggers but will stay as found .I will retain the neutral switch in GB for reasons above. Omp staying but I think I can mount behind dash to keep out of spray from rain water etc? Up to you boss!
1 other thing I noticed whilst underneath is solenoid connector on starter the solder joint is loose...only slightly but just letting you know...

I need a pin for the coil harness maybe have 1 at work but if you have 1 pop in post?

Wires wires...don't think I'm wired up right...I'm really enjoying myself. Got a big scrap pile...this is just the engine Loom!
