Dartford Meet **Tuesday, 21 May 2019**

This is a regular monthly meet on the third Tuesday of the month from 7.00pm onwards

The  location is 'The Wharf' (pub/restaurant),  Galleon Boulevard, Dartford, Kent DA2 6SL. They serve good, cheap  food.... and are very friendly, with children welcome.

The new location is  The Lion in Farningham.

It's a Vintage Inns pub, only a couple of minutes further south along the M25. It's lovely inside with a mix of open areas and smaller more private spaces. The garden is huge and stretches out to a very pretty river. The menu is great and comparable in price to The Wharf while the food quality is much better. In addition to the regular pub grub they also do hand-stretched pizzas which are excellent. The dessert menu is more varied as well. There's loads of parking, either in the pub car park or over the road.

This fits in well with RX-8OC local meets on the first week of the month (Surrey ), the second week (Barnet) and the last week (Essex).

Hopefully we will get the RX8OC guys there too with their underpowered (compared to you FD owners) RX8's 

Everyone welcome who has an interest in Mazda Rotary cars, be in old-school, RX-7 (FB, FC, FD), RX-8 or future rotaries (we can only hope  .

Even better if you can bring along your rotary to the meet - but it's not compulsory

Looking at the above "if" there\'s enough interest to hold this again then it may be an idea to hold this on the third Friday of each month as many sighted the Tuesday as the reason this stopped after 6 or 7 years .

If I had my rx4 running I would attempt to come but it\'s not there just yet. Even though it\'s a loooong drive for me.

Great drive down there, good location, good car park, good food.

Ok sorry its a little short notice guys, girls and inbetweeners.
Just a reminder to say that the first meet for the new/old Dartford pub meet will me tomorrow (20th March. Details should be on the first post in here.
People used to start arriving around 7-7:30pm though there is no need to think if your not going to be there till later that your not welcome, Owners and prospective buyers are all most welcome.

Myself and many others are very much looking forward to seeing this get off the ground again and hopefully becoming a strong and popular event.

Would be great to see as many peopl there as possible with the same interest.
