How bad is this rust?

My old White fc had this issue but as you know I gave up as the floor just started falling apart

Okay, so I\'m going for a viewing. Specifics to look out for on the car (1980 T2 looks in stock condition) ?
 
Chances are I\'ll take it at some point the following week/or two but I really want to know what I\'m letting myself in for.
 
As much as it\'s not a great indication I\'ve been watching youtube vids of Rexs with lumpy idles (possible tip degredation), reading your threads and comments regarding rust prone areas and scanning the net for the costs of service items as it\'ll be the first thing on my list upon purchase.

if its a 4 figure car then it might be time to walk away from it

but if its a couple of hundred quid .. could be worth the gamble

is the car a turbo or EGI ?

So... Purchased pending payment/collection.

I need to find someone with a trailer to get it from guildford to swindon then it\'s a case of getting a windscreen wiper, brake hoses, an exhaust gasket and a trip to an MOT station and I\'m laughing.

Who knows, I may make it to Japfest yet...

And yes Grinder, its got the standard splitter. Cars seems standard bar an aftermarket temp gauge and single exit exhaust

Agreed on the smallest four figure sum you can buy a car for which I don\'t think is too bad for a "dream" car.

yeah , the mods have a "thing" about modding my sig every so often

Brett started it and its now an initiation thing .. all new mods have to change it

although , it would seem i stopped being cheap in 2010
