Well not the best start to the new year. Went for a drive on sunday all was well, changed from 2nd to 3rd at 4000 rpm, car juddered and lost power.  Pulled over asap, seems like it has threw a tip.  

At present can\'t afford a rebuild with many other commitments.  I don\'t really want to break the car as I have spent so much time and money on it.  
At the same time I can\'t justify having it parked on the drive. So want to sell it in current condition.

Finally got some time to have a look at the car today.   Checked vacuum lines, map sensor and ignition leads all seemed to be in order.

Checked oil and water level both were spot on.

I pulled out the plugs removed egi and turned the engine over,  The sound was consistent and even. The plugs were wet gave them a clean, heated them up and back in.

Started her up, started straight away, vacuum was all over the place, black smoke from exhaust.  Held the revs at 1500rpm, vacuum was still unstable.

Hence I am no expert, but seems it could be a side seal gone wrong.

The car does not overheat, starts first time. buts struggles to make power.

The front bumper has a crack in the front right corner below the light, will need to be sanded filled and sprayed to look perfect.  Could be just filled and be hardly noticeable,  Also the front off side wing has a crack in the corner were it was welded, but being so low the car  sometimes catches the speed bumps which caused the damage.

I have the paint code.

I am still looking for offers in the region of 4k.

some people just take the p**s, having taken a deposit on the car last weekend, being told it would be collected this thursday.  I am still awaiting.  I have been unable to contact the buyer, numerous emails, voicemails.  I suppose this all  comes with selling a car.

Anyway I have now decided to break the car.  Will be posting all parts for sale soon.

The rolling shell will come with diff, gearbox, standard rx7 rims and stock suspension, Full interior. It is a 1994 which has been undersealed and is origionally chaste white.
