I\'m a dreamer and I struggle to keep faith when something goes bad, I start to look at alternatives, pros, cons, comparative figures, does anyone else do this?

How do you all keep faith in your Rotary?

HaywardRotary

The best two things to think about is that if something goes wrong then use the opportunity to improve, and secondaly what else is there that you can seriously get that will give the same bang for buck thrill?
Thats mine....

I don\'t know any other stock engine that can get 153bhp per litre of displacement :)

Or rev to 8,500 rpm before internals need to be modified.

I do just this ;)

All cars will need a new clutch or expensive tyres.  Change to a \'better\' alternative Naaaa you know your going to want to modify that too so it becomes the same reson you would have moved in the first place.

Stick with your number 1 choice - you know it makes sence :Thumbsup!

This sums it up for me. Touch wood mine hasn\'t gone wrong yet, but it doesn\'t get used much anymore. I often think about getting rid of it/her for something I can use more but nothing comes close when you compare them. Also opening the garage door always helps too, the sight of it still excites me:). Sad as it is I end up talking to it when I\'m going into the garage to get some beer out of the fridge!

I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Yeh - he should probably have added the rider "for under 20K" - because let\'s be real - those cars are way outside almost all of our budgets ;)

Actually I suspect that the Peugeot Quasar could probably have qualified - although it was never really stock - it produced 600BHP from a 1.6L

Are we assuming the 13b is 1.3 as opposed to a 2.6 (or 2.4 for fc guys) or the also argued 3.9!!

Well if the piston engine was clever enough to use 2 combustion cycles per revolution im sure they would be more efficient, shame that they make the most power at TDC meaning that none of the power can be transmitted to the crank at that point, they also have valves in the way of the air and fuel mix :2Rolleyes

What Carl said!  You\'ll struggle to find a better driving experience for the money.
RX8 High Power, Cusco Coilovers, Dotz wheels and flames. Shoe Size 12

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!
