So someone gives you £20k to spend on a car, what would you do? E.g. Would you spend it on your car? Would you buy something totally different? Would you buy a \'better shell?\' write what you\'d do and why?

No one has given me £20k unfortunately, this is just for fun. (I\'m taking donations though if anyone has £20k spare?)

I would probably bank the money as I have basically all the parts for my FC now lol might spend it on a track toy though :)

Will66

Refresh current RX8 shell.

New ported motor with some tasty parts.

Adaptronic Management system

Several sets of Semi-slicks.

Greddy Sump

RB Manifold

That\'ll do for now!
RX8 High Power, Cusco Coilovers, Dotz wheels and flames. Shoe Size 12

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Id import a 1967/68 mustang fastback then drop in a 460ci v8 and nitrous it. I would then sheild myself from the moist thongs being thrown at me!!:Ladys-man:Ladys-man:Ladys-man:Ladys-man:Ladys-man

FD obviously. 13B PP GT42 Turbo. Oh and some big nappies!!

I would steal another £20,000 and pay for a dodge charger. Same year as the one F&F 1

I\'ve got a thing for these...

My dad has a 289 1967 red coupe. Want to see it?

If it had to be spent on car stuff i\'d probably split it 50/50.
£10k on the fd to get it resprayed, new wheels and some engine stuff to get my strip times down.
The other £10k i\'d spend on a nice new runabout thats fun to drive.
Maybe pay off a few bills too

i\'d do this..

or maybe this

though £20k wont be enough to cover it :(

i\'d buy a minty fc, rebuilt engine by re-a and prob r magic wide body kit.
dont think would have much left over from that lol
if did then gt35r and supporting mods.
2 doritos on a stick woohoo :rollin

I\'d sell mine and possibly redo it with what I\'ve learnt and then use new parts and not try to bodge it with second and parts again!

Alternatively buy a newer sports car and save a bit for the running costs and actually drive it more and not mod it (much).

funny you posted this me and my g/frien were having this conversation if we won the lottery, she said she would buy herself a porsche turbo :xconfused, my thoughts were altogether more focused, my fd with a quad rotor turbod monster in it and get it sprayed some sort of cool flicked paint and all the performance goodies needed to keep it in a straight line in accelaration :mmmm

Finish off my 8 project

Greddy turbo kit with Mazda maniac upgrade
Tein Monoflex with EDFC
Racing Beat anti roll bars
Feed 4.777 final drive
RE-Amemiya Battery Relocation kit
R3 Recaro seats retrimmed to match red and black interior
Takata harnesses
Volk Racing GTS wheels
RE-Amemiya Super-G rear bumper

Hmm sure there is more but that would do for the first week.
Turbocharged 192ps RX-8 running Meth Injection on an Adaptronic
Fully Bridgeported 231ps RX-8 stripped for the Track
2nd Gen RX-7 TurboII on a GT35r (show winner)

Total nut and bolt rebuild to my specifications, have it looking as thoug it just came out the factory (but with up to date tech), street port the engine, flared arches, rust proofing everywhere... so on so forth.

May cost more than 20k though
