For me the the \'VXR Monaro package\' is damn cool as it is, it looks awesome i\'d just keep it as it is. Perhaps supercharge it once the novelty wears off.

Thing is i\'ve said the monaro as my Â£20k option, the truth is a go through phases and change my mind daily but i\'ve always loved the monaro. Shame i\'ll not be able to afford one for AGES yet.

Nearly bought a Monaro instead of the RX8. Don\'t regret my decision but that would be a nice two car garage. Low mileage 6.0 VXRs are trading at about Â£12k so you could get one and fiddle with a rotary too or supercharge the Monaro for a nice 500 bhp or so!

I\'d love one, but i couldn\'t afford one right now. I need to sort myself out when i get back the UK as well, got a few debts to sort out. Then ideally need get my own place etc, life is such you know. Honestly though, i\'d rather have a VXR monaro than an RX-8 :p

That V8 engine is nice, but the way it corners was nothing compared to the 8!

New plan, I think a H1V8 (v8 made from 2 hayabusa engines) engine might be an idea.
Revs upto 10k rpm n can even bolt 2 turbos onto it for mrga power lol

Well my opinion is when you buy a monaro you already know what it\'s for, it\'s not a track car it\'s to \'muscle car\' to be nimble.

Arent they like $60k? Thats what they use in the Atom V8 right?

Simple for me, get a short block triple made and made properly, dowelled etc and have a 9 - 10k + revvy rotary with a nice single, just the perfect combination in my eyes! Oh yeah and put it in a Fd, no nasty wide arch kitted thing either!
