ohlins shocks

i have ohlins adjustable shocks fitted, wondering if i can fit lowering springs with them? may be a silly question but just want to ask before i buy, thanks i advance

As far as I know all aftermarket Ohlins shock absorbers to fit our cars have adjusters so the springs can be raised up or down which means you can have the car as high or low as you want it without buying different springs

thanks for the reply, they do have adjusters bud but i was under the impression they were to chance the damper rate, not the actual height... may be wrong

If your shocks look anything like this then the blue ring nuts will wind up and down to raise or lower the car

But if they look like the yellow Koni\'s then they won\'t as these have a fixed spring pan and then you would need shorter springs to drop the car

i have the ones in the top image and yes you can adjust the ride height with them, you can do it with the wheels on to, just make sure you move them all an equal amount :King

the top ones are coilovers are they not?

well its the shocks i have, not the coilovers unfortunetely, so question is am i ok to fit lowering springs with them ? may sound silly but just want to check

yea course you will be ok to fit lowering springs onto shocks, just dont go too low it may look cool but you will kill your splitters and grind up the underside of your car on speedbumps, you could prob lower 40mm safely maybe slightly more

i wouldent say they looked like the ones in the 2nd pic, but they do have the adjuster taps and made by ohlins
