Ive got a spare quad bung UIM if you ever do become interested :D

festa, the mmr stuff seems pretty good and well made, the shipping time took a while though, im guessing your talking about the spherical bushes? no i didnt get them as i already had polybushed front arms and had polybushes for the rear arms also but as i got individual camber links i couldnt fit the polybushes as they wouldnt allow camber to be adjusted very much as their to stiff, this is where the spherical bushes allow movement but stay solid but i couldnt afford them at the time of ordering so they will come at a later date

thanks dtheb cant wait to get the tyres howling :)

thanks binox :) you only live once might as well build what you want :) can vouch that mitch has some quality stuff ;-)

festa

Thanks for the info, I\'m not going to get the indivdual camber arms Iv\'e already got the adjustable bar so hoping to get away with that
Cheers

another little update,

sacked the idea of making the radiator i had into a v mount radiator and did a deal with m1tch and aquired the radtec radiator that was in the car when phil had it which saves me time and allows me to continue with other parts of the car, just gave it a good rub with autosol and mmmm shiney shiney lol

i have a fair idea of how it was originally mounted but if anyone reads this and knows better feel free to inform me lol

also got a downpipe from mitch as there was a fair chance that it would fit my to4r, and it does to a point, as its specific to a different turbo and a different manifold its pretty damn close, may need to be altered slightly

and now for the best bit and the bit that excites me the most :D a full bridgeported 13b built by hayward rotary :) funnily enough also the engine that phil had built for the fc, it just so happened that these became available to me and thanks to m1tch for being a spot on guy to deal with :) the BP engine wont be going in for a while though as its going to recieve a few bits and pieces and the engine i have in the car will be mapped and run for a while to make sure the rest of the car is going well :)

only photo i have at the moment

m1tch

Hey....I recognise those part....oh wait :D

I can see why that downpipe is slightly different, the TA45\'s bolts are slightly further round is the O2 bungs are more at the top of the downpipe rather than the side of the downpipe as it is with yours meaning that your turbo and my turbo have a slightly different rear housing which is why it fits slightly differently.

P.S. shiny shiny :rollin

B.Martin

I like this quite a bit, can\'t wait to see (and hear) it done!

Timmyc

yeah i hope you did lol

yeah im going to see how the exhaust matches up and then take it from there :)

cant beat shiney shiney :D

thanks b.martin i cant wait to hear and drive it :)

The little job i had been threatening for ages to do was tackled recently by the gf

i talked her through it and soon was left with a nice throttle body without the secondary butterflies :)

my cooling fans arrived

made a few simple brackets for my v mount

the intercooler mocked up where it will sit

bought a 13b re additional injector manifold for a good price for my bridgeported engine and although the lim doesnt match perfectly a bit of port matching and re drilling should sort this

made some brackets and mounted my oil cooler

oil lines

got a set of work eurolines

not sure if they look good on the car? they might when its on the ground

fitted a braided clutch line but thi need to make a new bracket as the clutch line is a different size at the bracket so will sort this

started bending the old brake pipe to try route it in a better route than it previously was, once its okay i\'ll ben new pipe and clip it into place properly and plumb in the hydraulic handbrake, also using a spare servo and mastercylinder while i heatproof my good one

Timmyc

yesterday got the secondary throttle butterfly holes blanked and fitted
throttle cable fitted
speedo cable fitted
starter motor fitted
wiring re routed
the brake mastercylinder im going to use fitted
made and fitted clutch pipe bracket, also made a rotor shaped bracket that i might use? lol
more brake pipes trial routed
exhaust trial fitted
radiator fitment moked up

to do:
bolt in radiator and intercooler, make alloy ducting, route coolant pipes
find a replacement bolt for my water pump, seal and bolt down waterpump, attach alternator, fit belts
reweld compressor housing elbow at a different angle, buy and fit oil feed and return lines
bend and route brake pipe, fit calipers, handbrake cables
paint and fit new arbs
buy and fit fuel system, lift pump, swirl pot, in line filter, 044, lines, aeroquip fittings, line splitters, additional fuel rail, fpr
misc wiring, gauges, boost controller etc

some photos of recent stuff

my clutch bracket

my rotor clutch bracket, a bit :censored::censored::censored::censored: i know lol

massive ARBs and adjustable droplinks

AST chamber, now fully polished

a set of twin headlights

alloy fuel tank that will be going in in the futre with the bridgeported engine

adjustable pedal box with seperate cylinders

long clutch line for clutch cylinder

thanks to ray on here for these parts

will get a bit more done tonight and tomorrow
