Did FC\'s come with a boot lid/cover or is it just a open boot?

Has anyone gone about making a cover or what do people do?

stock FC has a parcel shelf yes, but mine is f00ked. Not sure what you\'d do to make another one? Could try and find someone breaking one?

My turbo II has a parcel shelf, but Lacey\'s EGI has a wierd roll up cover

Could always just make it into a pickup :D

Lacey

Behold, me rollover cover thingymabob! I believe the material roller ones are called something like a "privacy cover" or something to that effect

Interesting! I want a parcel shelf/privacy cover for mine as when i start using my fc properly it\'d be nice to have the boot covered up!

Now to try and find one.... Is the privacy cover a standard thing or something made?

Hahaha, when I read Laceys post I read \'bend me over\' for some reason instead of \'behold my roll over\' easy mistake to make!
Back on subject and the bend me over cover looks cool! Why do you get one and I get a crappy broken normal parcel shelf? You do manage to get your mits on some cool things Lacey! Kam your best bet is to find someone breaking an FC, or go on DW and see any of the lads with stripped FC\'s have one spare I recon mate.

Lacey

Mine\'s bolted onto the top of the rear seats and since it\'s branded with RX-7 I assume it was a factory option?

Think they were an EGI thing, saw somebody selling the rear seats a little while back from an EGI and I believe it had the rollerblind style cover on it? Could be wrong though, usually am!

My egi had a normal parcel shelf I think? I forget maybe it didn\'t have anything?

Ricco_04

A looooong while ago someone was selling a carbon one on here - looked ok and I suppose you could always do a FRP one and give it a covering to look stockish.

I quite like this!
I reinforced mine with a few bits of wood underneath painted black then recovered the top to hide the screws as it holds my 6x9s which are heavy for 6x9s
