What are your views on a 20b n/a fc?

some people say 20b in fc will be too heavy at the front so will handle poor and also the brakes wont cope with the power?
given target power of 20b im after is about 400bhp (safe reliable), uprating the brakes should be ok? as theres a few big power fc\'s out there that have not crashed.

haha.. also.. what is needed?

3 rotors
3 housing
front, rear and 2 centre irons
3 rotor shaft
ignition? stock 20b cosmo coil packs?
20b intake manifold
dont think can use 20b exhaust mani as thats for turbo.
bosch 044 fuel pump
cosmo fuel rails?
cosmo engine loom? custom made?
ecu? dont think pfc will work for 20b
new engine mounts
fc gearbox?
uprated clutch

im sure theres lots i\'ve missed so if anyone can add to this then would be great!

You would need to fab a different inlet systrdm if you were going N/A :)

Your going to need a decent ecu ££££\'s
400hp= PP in my eyes
ITB x 3 = £1500

Kind of expensive already?

Go for it. I am willing to help if you need any advice regarding the installation.

ECU wise, go only MOTEC!! Nothing else, M84 is for 1700 pounds and would serve the purpose well. I know I have to change my Motec M84 ECU to M800 OR M880, but for the time being I am happy with that. If by that time you are ready, I will sell you my one with a great discount :)

I hope so I have one aswell although it needs a rebuild which may cost more than it\'s worth lol

If its not a 20B engine from a Cosmo it would have to be a short block triple, so that will have to be PPed

L18M

ITB how much?! hmm..

dont want out and out power, just power and reliability :)

N/A 20B would be a thing of much win!  400bhp would mean significant porting, but on an FC without the problems with emissions laws you could run Triple IDAs or throttle bodies.  Might make the management system easier.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!
