after market intercooler, induction kit and blue pipe work.

looks like you have a type x auto with sun roof and cruise control?
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

12.3 second 1/4 mile, terminal speed of 122mph (1st ever drag run on a TO4R)

engine built by....... umm me! now powered by a T51 Kai......

Still running the OEM airpump though

Mikey22

You think its better to mod the airpump?

Yeah its an auto with sun roof and cruise control. Just the Efini model tho.

Sorry guys im having a bad day......it is indeed an intercooler not rad lol

Mikey22

ok slight debate goin on her. My mrs wants me to wait to rebuild the engine. Id like to do it now so nothing else goes wrong on it.

Whats the opinions on this?

What are the compression figures on the engine?

Mikey22

Tbh i dont think the engine has ever been compression tested.

You think this would help find out whats wrong with the car?

Lacey

Most definitely, compression test can show all manner of things

Anyone know anywhere in scotland that will perform this?

Im in the south west scotland. Have no idea where to start.

Cheers

Lacey

Can\'t help you with that one personally I\'m afraid as I don\'t know Scotland at all, there\'s always the option of buying a compression tester for rotaries, but you might not like the price of them
