Sure Shaun,
Hopefully you can give me some tuition as this is your home track.

Quote from: C J R;775379Great, I\'m looking forward to this event.

Just had these fitted at the weekend and trying to find a dry evening to start scrubbing them before Oulton.

Blimey , now were getting serious :Giggle

See you there, today we have even secured a place to sleep in the same hotel which means you will all have to put up with me there as well :chat

Seriously, I\'m looking forward to this as I had never raced here and the last time was wet, but wet or not it was an awesome track to drive so it should be great in the dry :cool

I have the solution for you/ take it off, after all my poor little RX-8 struggles around gasping for breath with no Turbo :3gears-rh:Giggle

Phew !!!
Clive, glad you admitted you were logged in as Lisa, that would have caused some interesting looks at breakfast !

Look forward to seeing you there.

Hope its not wet this time as I couldn\'t stay on the track with road tyres on, expect it to be worse in the wet with R888 !

Its is made up by your driving style :Giggle I\'m still overly cautious ! Getting better every time though !

Been Looking at a GT3794r_HTA possibly to replace the knackered turbo. Will hopefully fit on the current manifold and make some interesting power !

Got a fully dry day about 6wks ago and it was absolutely fantastic. Such a buzz, even if my turbo decided to let go at the end of the day !

Not long now.....:):)

BRIEFING - I\'ve attached one, but most of you know the drill by now! However, please give it a quick scan to ensure you\'ve not forgotten anything. If anyone thinks I\'ve forgotten to include anything, spots any errors, or can suggest improvements, please le tme know.

CONVOY - I\'ll be travelling up from Colchester on Thursday, leaving about 11.30am, aiming to stop at the M1 (northbound!) Newport Pagnell services about 1.00-1.30pm for a bite to eat. I aim to leave there about 2pm, 2.30pm latest, to get to the Sandhurst hotel ~4.00-4.30pm. If anyone wants to join me at the start, or at the services then PM me, or post up here.

THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER - I propose we all meet up at the Red Lion, Little Budworth, where conann is staying. I\'m happy to take 2-3 passengers from the Sandhurst in my car, leaving around 7ish. Rationale; chance to meet conann, and recce the route from the hotel to the circuit. The route is the same one as we will be taking the next morning! The Red Lion is very close to the circuit (which is very poorly signposted!)

Guess who\'s booked the day off! So the question is who\'s gonna take me out for some passenger rides?

I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Hi Malcolm,
I hope to travel across to the Sandhurst to arrive about 4.30 to 5.00pm on Thursday.
Can I blag a lift for dinner

Did anyone book a garage ? If not i\'ll bring the mini tent to chuck stuff in.

See you at the Sandhurst.

For those who are from \'out of town\' like me, I\'ve googled the nearest Shell petrol stations as follows;
Nearest to the Sanhurst Hotel, Shell station on Holmes Chapel Rd CW100JB,
Nearest to the Track, Shell station, Chester Road CW82DX.

Good idea to bring it, hopefully the "advance party" of locals will have bagged 3-4 garages to share before we arrive ;) - arranged via the RX8OC forum.

And thx for spotting the local Shell garages - I remember the one local to the track from last year! I must add those details to the briefing pack next time...
