My FD\'s all ready to go after a long re-shelling effort. Had her out for a good test run last night and found she\'s kinda stuttering/choking when I give it flat out and it reaches about 6k revs. Pulls like a train in all gears until say 5.5k to 6k revs. Don\'t want to try and rev it past 6k in case any damage is done.
Could this be a grounding problem? I\'ve heard bad earthing can cause limited revving and I\'m not sure I have 100% grounded everything properly.
The reason I suspect this also is that when I took a look under the bonnet after a run and leaned on the strut brace, it was really hot all the way along and not just above the turbo. I\'m pretty sure it never got that hot before!
I know it might be overboosting or losing boost somewhere but the reason I\'m thinking more grounding is that I\'ve never touched the mapping of the apexi FC and I know it\'s kept the same map and all boost pipes seem pretty secure!
Any info would be much appreciated as it\'s the last little job before she\'s perfect again!

Bearing in mind, I have changed nothing about the engine since it ran perfectly in the other shell.
