DIY 13b Rebuild

Hi guys, fairly new to the old rotary thing, just bought a FD in need of some tlc and having looked at the engines for some time, it really does appear that the engines are reasonably simple to rebuild.

Ive been looking at the atkins rotary kits with mazda apex seals, does anyone have any experience with these kits in this country? Or would it be prudent to use all mazda parts for what I think is close to £2000?

Thoughts, Reccommendations very much welcomed
