alright guys, i\'m guessing i should go straight into the main rad pipe, 1/8NPT T-piece, but what diameter is the original hose? surely someone on here has fitted an aftermarket water temp guage :3gears-lh

If you don\'t want to keep the frankly useless OEM gauge, you can use the location for the sender for that - like the pressure, it\'s the same thread as a lot of aftermarket senders (whatever the Defi ones are!)

Apparently the 13b tends to run hotter on the rear iron, so that\'s worth bearing in mind as well.

cheers SiH - without sounding like a homo, your proper helpful, and pop up in most of my threads. much appreciated. i\'m probably going to replace the rad hoses for silicone, so thought i\'d try and kill 2 birds with one stone here, in that, if i\'ve got to remove the pipe anyway, i\'d just fit the gauge sensor there..

Hahaha, big love man :D It\'s what the rotary community\'s about - spread the knowledge picked up :)

As for hose sizes - pressure sure they\'re 32mm. Rad hose tends to be either 32 or 28, and aI deffo had to get a reducer to fit the outles on my rad, so pretty sure it\'s 32.
However, it\'s a long time since I had a stock rad I\'m afraid :(

just done some digging around, kept finding 1.5" ID.. looks like the 38mm then :)

found a guy in the usa doin bomz silicone triple ply hose for $79.99/£48.70 delivered to uk.

your looking at £85+ for samcos in the uk :)
