took the rx7 out today, on way home, i think i\'ve blown a seal

car became incredibly "lumpy" very quickly, almost un-driveable. revs dipping right down, then rising, and boost guage all over the place yo-yo\'ing. guess only thing to do is get it compression tested? anyone near wellingborough had this before or know somewhere in northamptonshire to take her?

sounds like a tip has gone my good man! that is normaly the reason for a bouncing boost gauge sorry man!

however.. SHE LIVES!

went hunting around all the vac hoses, and found the boost sensor hose had slipped off the bottom thanks to a shafted clip. hence the boost guage bouncing, and massive over fuelling. shes now back to 12psi of joy, stable, no hesitancy. absolutely delighted, as i\'ve been a miserable ....... all day thinking i had a 2.5k bill coming up.
