S2 sold last week for £1950 on ebay.

both of these cars though are nice examples which we would expect to make this sort of money. I don\'t think prices are rising but rather that people are taking advantage of the market conditions to pick up nice cars.

Both of these are sold by dealers as well who would present the cars properly and cover themselves under the sale of goods act.

Even so, it\'s good to see 1st gens starting to find buyers again after a dead six months.

Projects, fixer uppers and tatty cars are still fetching peanuts though.

it\'s been for sale for most of the last 2 years.... disappeared last year, now it\'s back.... it was up for around £1500 last year.....

I suspect your rotor housings won\'t become a snack.
 
Only 2 bidders on the silver s3,so i can\'t see there being a bidding frenzy in last few minutes.

But then there was the one in surrey with primer on the bonnet and missing the turbo. Lhd I think it was. Didn\'t even go for starting bid of 450.

sold for £2550.... best price of 2011 so far.

Tis best price of 2011 & i think 2010 as well.
The car was,nt a minter,bit of rust & paintwork needed.
 
I think the seller got a G8 price for it.
