a good carb for a 12a

Hi, i have a 12a with all the emission on it, the thermal exhaust and the nikki 4 barrel carb needs gaskets ect, the idea is to get rid off the thermal exhaust and possibly the nikki carb.
What is a good carb for street use only as i know i will not race it. cheers for any info

Well, i dont know what others think but my opinion is that original carb is quite good.
My brother has street port 12a and he rebuilded that carp. He did line up manifold to engine and carp to manifold. And carp did support engines hunger. ;)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.
