jacking and axle stand points

could anyone help me out here, ive done a search but with not much luck.
basicaly, are there \'ideal\' places to jack up the car and then place the stands? i dont want to think ive found somewhere solid and find out the hard way i haven\'t.
the best i found using the search was this:
