I don\'t realy have any pictures of it i keep thretening i\'ll do it but not got round.

Grinder, Yes i do have that kit, it was the fact my head light motors where playing up and i wanted a diffrent look, the rest goes without saying realy.

I warn you all though even though i would buy another one for my Vert i think they are a bit expencive for what you get. My main gripe is the lights are poor and i\'ll end up fitting the HID kit with Spot lights, Dont get me wrong though the GRP is very good quality and has very little imperfections but it did take a bit of messing about to get it fitting well.

Maybe a group buy may be on the cards? i know i\'d be up to buy another one or a Wide arch kit maybe?

Grinder, Its for my Red T2

grinder

hows the TII coming along now ??

i still think its a fantastic kit though :)

are you keeping the car red - or you gonna spray it some funky colour aswell ??

i dont think i could actually spend 1K on a piece of plastic for the front though :)

could you not fabricate one from the one you have bought - could be a cheaper method - and then you would have a mold to make more :)

To be honist its coming along very slowly, I\'ve spent quite alot of my time (and money) getting my Convertable running 100%.

Its funny that you\'ve brought up the colour as well? I spent alot of time going through the colour chips at work to find somthing that would look good on it but it started off as a bit of a sleeper kind of thing so i painted it a slightly diffrent red (being a painter i wanted a red that didnt look orange at night;)) The only time i would change the colour now would be if i got a wide arch kit for it?

The convertable is at that stage now where i have to make my mind up? I had thought of a tame colour like mid to dark green (candy) but that may look a bit tame. i had also seen a copper orange colour that may look well? but i am stuck for choice? funny if i ended up repainting it white.

Chris

i know i shouldnt say this .. but

i like yellow :)

copper orange sounds nice actually !

there are loads of colours available - this could take you a while to choose - could you not do a metal flake paint job or perlescant ( my motorbike was that )

flip paint - or are we in the realms of fantasy here ??

Colour is also something i keep thinking about changing on my convert, but not sure about the fact the hood will always be black.not really seen a colour that will work round this but will keep looking something will turn up. :cool

Grizzly

I have thought quite alot about my Vert, i was going to go the full ReA 2000 kit way with a wacky House of color creation but there is a bit of a buget on this car so i\'ve been looking at of the shelf stuff.

I was looking at the Border Kit that looks well on T2\'s keeping the pop up lights etc. I have had some past contact with Border and found them nearly as helpfull as ReA.

So it may end up a Convertable vertion of this?

Grizzly

But i also like keeping the Origanal colour too and just fitting a smart kit? then i dont have the agro of pulling it to bits painting all the engine bay, floor etc?
