Pipe to intercooler

I have noticed that the pipe  running to the intake at the bottom rear ofthe intercooler raises upwars under turbo pressure.  Noticed that it is a concertina effect tube but is this normal?  Have just fitted an induction kit so brethes a bit easier I suppose.  Could this be the cause?  Should I change it to a silicone one incase it blows?  I cant take this stress!!!!:(
