insurance - Alarm

Hi i been looking around the insurance  section and im in need of insurance at the end of the month and i had a price from Adrian Flux for 700 but they said that i will have to have a CAT2 alarm on the car to give me that price. i was wondering what alarm system people are having for there RX and if the classical insurance is needed for CAT2 or will a CAT1 alarm be okay? some advise would be great.

im 26 and soon to be 27  and have 3 years NCB
price 700 was with my girlfriend added to it.. thought it was good deal till i saw others with shocking prices...

i am with flux got clifford concept 650 cat 1 on classic car policy no problem under £300
