Mornin all.
Just found myself thinking while bored at the place I have to unfortunately call work, and realised that while I own an fd, and have seen both the fc and fb models before, did mazda ever make an fa model, and if so, whats it look and go like?

David Nock (RIP)

G\'morning to you.

The first of the FBs was designated \'SA\'. So Mazda probably thought 2nd Series FBs was better as \'FB\'.......just a thought.

So 1st gens come in SA (S1), FB (S2) and FB (S3).

Ah ok, thanks. Kinda makes you wonder why they changed from the \'S prefix to the F though doesn\'t it! :)

Presumably they didn\'t want to market a Son of a Biatch :D

They used the S prefix for the Mazda rx2 and rx3 in the 70s, maybe a 70s Mazda thing?
