Thanks Lisa....not the Croydon car I thought then.....wooden spoon for me. Doohh.

Looks nice, I guess the C739 CKL reg in the 1st pic is what it was originally registered as. Sounds like the RXI plate is included with the car?

Can\'t understand, why there has not been more posts on here, think this car is getting lost on the "How many 1st Gen" thread.

Yes, possibly so, it\'s certainly been discussed on there in the last day or so.

Definitely looks the part in the limited photographs. Sounds good providence with lowish miles. If it is as good as they say, I would agree with comments on \'tuther\' thread, if you take into consideration the cost of buying a cheaper version that requires substantial restoration work and re-sprays, it would make sense to spend this type of money for a good solid example. Also this particular model would have the benefit of limited owners and possibly not having been welded - surely this has to be a bonus for any vehicle.
I think the major downfall for this vehicle (as expressed by other members) is in it\'s colour - for some reason the majority of people seem to extremely dislike this shade of green! For this reason alone it would reduce the amount of potential purchasers and limit the chances of a sale close to the asking price. At the end of the day, it all boils down to what somebody is prepared to fork out on the day.
Me? - I like it!

Unfortunately not for me - I already have a brace of FB S2\'s and 1 FC so I\'ve nowhere to keep it.

Would it not be better to post it on the open forum?

Most paid up members that want one...already have one ;)

CHC (RIP)

The logic behind the thread being in members only section is to provide the opportunity for full club members to purchase prior to being offered to the open forum - I for one support this and see it as a valid perk of membership.

Yes, I concur that most paid up members that want one may already have one but there is always the instance such as just happened with the fife fb, a member may not actually be looking for one but if the circumstances are right, they may just choose to do so on a whim perhaps.
Also other members with fb cars may also fancy their chances for another - had it not have been for my current circumstances, I can assure you that I would have bought and paid for the fife fb before the present club member had had the opportunity to approach the po with his winning offer.  So keep them coming to the full members section first !!

I must admit i was not looking for an FB, i have an FD in the garage, but thankfully as it was posted in the members section, i did have the chance to buy it.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself...
But i can always do with some help now due to, my advancing years!

I\'m not arguing the point of placing the car in the members section.

However, if, after a while, there is no interest, maybe putting it on the open forum might generate a sale?
