has anyone done this to their fb and if so did you use a universal 2 door kit or the parts off another car?
I might fit central locking to my project car giving me remote central locking linked to the alarm.

This is something I have been considering too - there\'s a guy selling a kit on eBay for £18.95 + p+p

I fitted a remote kit to mine, only took a couple of hours :)

My advice would be to use a 4 door one, as the wires to the passenger door needs to be pretty long, as the actuators need to be at the back of the doors - I used a 4 door kit as it was only a couple of quid more, the wires are longer, and you end up with a couple of spare slave actuators :)

..one of which you can use for the boot release :)

I think this kit gives sufficient equipment for all required zones and at a resonable price too.
