well atm im not in a financial situation to be able to afford one, plus i will be 25 (insurance 250 for one then) and one of my loans finished by then, along with me saving enough money to buy one, they the only reasons im waiting!!

Why not buy a 2nd gen in the mean time? Get to learn the RX7 and the rotary engine untill you can afford the FD.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

As i said atm im not in the financial position and tbh i dont really like the Gen 2, personal taste, some are nice but not my cup of tea, also would still mean the insurance is crazy till im 25 and the running cost where as when im 25 will pay the huge sum (not) of 250 for a whole years insurance in one lump, buy the car with money saved so no loan to pay month by month and just spend the rest of my money on keeping it tip top and a few mods here and there, o and running the gas guzzler but you cant expect high performance for low cost, found this out with my scoob which did 18mpg on a run!!!

18mpg is good! Nice to see your thinking about what you can do and when at what cost. Alot of people wouldn\'t. Hopefully when the time comes you\'ll find the perfect car you.

Im not silly mate i been there done that and bought the t-shirt, most of my cars i have paid a massive premium for insurance wise, running wise and i have gotten myself into big debt before all over a piece of metal which ok you get the looks and people going wow what a car but they dont have to run the damn thing, so i dont want to be there again if i cant afford it, i have been without my scooby 2 years already so another 18 months til another awsome car is well worth waiting in my eyes, plus my daugher will be 3 so can hopefully put her in the back with a booster seat and be safe, if not she will be in the front and the missus in the back, its the way i work, all i want is a good clean example for 5k, tbh in 18 months time cars should of come down a fraction more so should be able to get one and still have change for something like an apexi, :god
