Quote from: Steve-A;776760Going to try and book an MOT for friday! :D I best get back to the cosmetics now :(

Nice work Steve. Fingers crossed for the MOT! A gang of us in RX\'s are doing a trackday at Oulton on Friday, so will have all our fingers crossed. We are hoping to get Kimi booked in for MOT very soon (in next fortnight hopefully), but she doesn\'t look anywhere near as tidy as Rexanne!

She passed! :3gears-lh:3gears-lh:3gears-lh:3gears-lh:3gears-lh:3gears-lh:3gears-lh

Done 130 or so miles today, no problems :) So far the fuel gauge and cigarette lighter are the only things I can see not working.

The suspension feels good. I\'ve had a bit of a mess with the damper settings across the day and its just getting better and better. She feels balanced and is holding some really good corner speed.

The steering is a bit of an experience to begin with!   but I feel quite used to it now. Likewise the manual secondaries took me a while to get used to.

I\'m very happy and looking forward to many any more miles!

I also got my helper springs today so after the MOT and before going for a drive I wound her down a bit! Here she is out and about with my friends Corrado.

Ya, why woudnt she pass, she´s better that new! ;)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Cheers guys.

I am lovin\' driving her :) The dampers seem to be bedding in a little, and becoming more supple :)

I\'m becoming much more used to the steering too :P The central vagueness just seems normal now!

steve took me out for a spin yesterday along some nice country roads.

WOW!! i was amazed at how she handeled even as a passenger you could feel how tight the car is now. keeping flat like crazy through the corners. the bumps... (what bumps?)
little bumps you dont even feel and hard ones get smoothed over by the top end suspension.

Impressed! cant wait to see what this car does around the timed track at rotorstock.
