Age: 24 - First RX-7 Efini Who would insure me at 24?

Hello all,

Im looking to get my hands on a 94 RX7 Efini with a few mods next month. Looking at only 5k miles PA.

Im going to check round Sky, Reis and Peter Best for insurance - Is there anybody else who would insure under 25 with minor mods?

I have 2 years NCB, no points or anything. What would be a rough price I should be expecting?

Any info would be appreciated.

I\'ve had my car insured with sky for three years now, n I was 22 when I 1st insured it n it\'s been roughly around the £1000 Mark gone down by a couple of houndred n I\'ve got 7 points n stuff lol

My first year (23) was with A Plan at £1074, went to Sky the following year who dropped it to £874,

Hello mate...I\'m also 24...I have 5 years NCB and 6 points.
 
Car is an Import, J Reg, mainly standard except exhaust and air filter, for about 3K miles a year.
 
I got a quote from Admiral for £1065 fully comp...I know it sonds alot but thats the cheapest I could find as a new RX7 owner.
 
P.S. Also worth Trying Greenlight Insurance, but only if you\'ve had at least 1 years experiance with a similar RWD Turbo\'d car. (they\'ll ask you if you have when you call to finaise your quote) They also include trackday cover and specialise in Modded/Super cars.
They quoted me £658 fully comp but I wasn\'t "experienced" with otehr RWD Turbo cars.

Im with Adrian Flux at 21 with mods declared pay £1300

Recent rebuilt Street ported, non sequential, turbo back uprated HKS exhaust, alloys and  bodykit

3 yr NBC,

Peter best qouted me £345 fully comp 1500miles, extra 150 for another 1000 miles if I need anytime.:cheers:cheers

Well, I tried Peter Best and was swiftly turned down as I am under 25. I guess i\'ll try Sky or APlan tomorrow.
