Hi peoples I\'m iggy7 and joined this ace site a few days ago just wondered if anyone could give me some advice.I bought some cobra misanos at Christmas without really looking into the fitment into my fd,I have pics of it done by cutting the the doorcards so the seat can slide it\'s either this option or remove the seat winders both sides, but the shoulder part of the seat is going to be very close to the pillar which might wreck the carbon backs should I cut my losses and start looking for other seats that can bolt straight in or mess about with trim cutting and getting custom subframes ??????

well do you want recliners or fixed buckets, i know those are recliners but if you want buckets i know a few that will fit with no car mods

Iggy7

Not to sure I prefer recliners as have sat in buckets in the past and found them tight specially as being 6ft 1,ideally would like some brides but not too sure how much I\'ll get for the misano is a shame because they are a very nice seat.

your singing to the choir.

Im 6ft3 and 15stone so i know your pain.

I popped down to atomic rex yesterday to see what seats we can fit.

As you can imagine we really need to sit very far back and also have enough ass room.

Im a 34in waist and we found the standard sized corbeau pro seats were perfect.

They were comfy and also they fitted with with a couple of millimetres each side with no mods.

Because im tall hes going to modify his mounts so the chair goes all the way back so it touches the metal under the back seat, i think that will be comfy and drop my eye height down to the point where ill be able to actually see the dash.

the seats online are £320 each so its worth doing, try giving him a call and tell him lanky lee sent you, he will sort you out.

Im sure you can get a decent amount for brand new misanos so the change will be pretty cheap

Iggy7

Cool cheers for the info dude will have to have a look into them I\'m a 34waist to so should be alright.

hes working on the mounts for me at the moment so hopefully he will see this thread and put some pictures up of the modified mounts when they are finished to show you what i mean as i truely think this could be the solution to us tall lads trying to drive rx7s
