Rotorstock Inter-club Sprint Cup

Rotorstock 7 will not only see a new addition with the Sprint Track that will be timed all day long showing a leader board for all to see, but will also see “The Rotorstock Inter-club Sprint Cup” take place with a winner takes all trophy on offer .

Your club will be represented by two nominated cars and because the track will be varied with high speed and tight corners there will be no separate classes as all should have a chance at overall victory be they rear wheel drive, front, front wheel drive or four  wheel drive,

To sign on for the Sprint track you only require a driving license, a car fitted with a seat-belt and a driver with arms covered.

All cars will however run at the track crew’s discretion, so if someone is totally ill-prepared, they might get turned away, but if you are “sensibly” dressed, that will be fine.

Best of all there is no fee as the Sprint track is incorporated in your ticket price making this the cheapest “track day” you will take part in ever.

Each car will undertake one “sighting lap” then two timed laps and then you can simply line up and “Go again” as many times you wish,

The times of the two laps will then be added together to give your overall time and if your quick enough, posted up on the “leader board”

You have from 11 in the morning till 6 in the evening to have fun and set your own fastest time, ENJOY !

(if your on other clubs please post this across)

I\'m taking the rx8 powered tiger Avon which is very capable but is just let down by the driver.......
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

TRex

Surely shouldn\'t proper \'paid\' Members have first option at this?

Surely he would have paid more for his ticket as a \'non paying\' member? And there was me thinking we all just wanted to get together and celebrate the rotary engine regardless of paid/non paid status etc.

Obviously not.

Don\'t worry too much Tim, he is just teasing, he won\'t be complaining when he is cooking his food on my BBQ and sheltering under my gazebo! Besides he\'s only bitter cos he won\'t be taking his rx7!

Confused - TRex is down for taking part in the drag competition - is this now not the case as he has no RX-7? Why did he put his name down.

He is probably taking his truck up the strip, it\'s quicker than his rx7.

That\'s what I thought, it\'s a shame everyone doesn\'t think the same way.

Hopefully it will be a good day

Maybe because Tony was licking at your crotch within 4 minutes of the 1st posting!
I was not aware it was fingers at the buzzer time.....

And unlike Tony, I will have \'MY\' Car not someone else\'s available...
And I also won\'t be needing the RAC in my sighting lap... ;)
