We must have ebay experts on here.

I\'m going to be putting me little B2200 pick up on ebay in a week or two and
whenever I put stuff up for sale the text layout always seems too simple, just
paragraph text.

Other ads look much more interesting, different colours nice layout, how do you do that?

I\'ve looked at the \'template\' options but they only seem to offer different boarders.

Thanks

I started with nothing and I have most of it left

I find that as long as the facts everyone wants to see are easy to see then my stuff does well-I tend to put everything central, and slightly bigger than normal (not too big though).

Then a quick intro-maybe stating why it\'s for sale etc, then bullet point the good points, plus normal info like tax and MOT status.

If there are any faults do the same as above, then a brief round up and your terms of sale like pick up time, cash on collection, deposit etc.

When I read adverts that drone on and on I get bored and lose interest so I tend to keep it brief and to the point.

The best thing to do is spend a bit more time on the pictures because the amount of people who try to sell a car using a picture taken in the dark on a 1mp camera is baffling. In my opinion it\'s the pictures that sell a car.

Then just wack on a boarder or background to snazz it up a bit.

I\'m no salesman and it seems to have worked for me doing it this way in the past.

Hope this helps....

The other thing is have the end time on a weekend early evening when theres more people about to bid.
