Haynes Motor Museum Somerset - 5th September 2010

Ive posted this up on the RX8OC site but thought it maybe of interest
 
We are going to take a little trip down to Somerset on 5th Sept.
 
This also coinsides with Haynes \'rare breeds\' event - which is why I thought there maybe some MRC members that a) fancy a trip out and b) may have something they would like to entre into the competition
 
I\'ve had a nice email back from Haynes and they have agreed to set aside some space for us to park up etc.
 
I need to confirm some numbers by 16th August to give them an idea

just in case anyone\'s interested details have been finalised as follows
(everyones welcome - but numbers have been confirmed - so if anyone else want to come along please let me know asap)
 
Details and information as follows,
 
1) We have been asked to arrive no earlier than 10am to allow the \'rare breeds\' competitors time to settle in - the Museum are suggesting we arrive around 10.30am as a group
 
2) Therefore I suggest that we meet up in the Mcdonalds Car Park at the Sparkford roundabout on the A303 (Wakes Garage, Yeovil BA22 7JE) at 10-10.15am - then drive in together east bound on A359 to the Museum

3) We have \'club\' parking (this is why numbers are important) which will probably be an area in a field or car park (I have made the point the the RX8 is a little lower than ordinary cars)
 
4) Payment / group discount will be on the day - we do need to get to 10+ people to benefit from this (numbers are no problem at the moment)

i got it working again, was an air lock. replaced busted hose and \'burped\' her just need to test which i guess tomorrow will be as good a time as any lol.

back from haynes early as ran into some probs and need ot run some errands.

Was a nice day and the rain eased off. Lots of old cars to see and the red room in the museum was pretty nice
Highlights for me was the red room, lambo countash, old american  barges.
Highlight for my gal, people checking out the tow truck that came to tow my fc lol
