Hello all,

I have recently purchased a rx7 and the full beams dont work on it and was wondering if you could help me out with it a bit.

Ive had a look and I cant see any real problems with wires not meeting or being cut. The dipped beams work on it but the full beams I just loose all lights when I move the stalk.

I have noticed that there is a connection block that is located on the drivers side just by the door that is not connected to anything and was wondering if you guys had seen this connection before and where it should be connected or what it actually does with the wires.

Pictures of the connection and location below.

Sorry for the essay just spent hours trying all the fuses and none of them seem blown and have run out of idea.

Thanks

Robert

Hello mate, I would start by downloading a wiring diagram specific to your car year and model then just start methodically working your way through the circuit. Get a multimeter if you haven\'t got one (doesn\'t have to be mega pricey). I don\'t know FD\'s but I\'m guessing they\'ve actually got relays switching the headlights rather than the full current going through the stalk like on earlier rex\'s so that might be your first stop to see if the relay is getting power from both the \'mains\' side as well as the switched feed from the stalk.

Hope this help a little, I\'m sure one of the FD boys will be able to help more but thats a start.
