it took me ages to fade the beige into the red like that, just need laquer now

hi mike.

it does look good in the photos. in real life its a bit different.
ill explain. the first two photos are when it was sprayed in solid red. very shiney. then my man put some laquer over the top. this shine gets sucked into the solid colour so it now looks dry. it all needs to be flatted and polished. also i was against the clock at every work interval. i done the first repairs at my uncles gararge. it had to be ground down repaired and primed before i went home in the car so i was rushing. this went on for a couple of saturdays. then at work it had to be prepped and out asap so again more rushing the end result is i wish id spent more time on it. the most important thing is it will look quite nice at this years shows. the cost has been higher than i first thought.

i had to pay for the paint and material
i payed the painter
it cost me a frendly neabour( i made a mess outside his house)
it may have cost me my job because i had a row with the boss about working on my car in work time (it got very heated with much name calling, stuff i couldnt put here)

just to let you know that i didnt get the sack.
all sweet at work and i fitted it up today. its looking good.
