new master and slave clutch cylinders

just replaced both today (master was a bit of a mission till i took the seat out)
got them from the states for about £60 both parts sent seperate to avoid vat.
saw same parts on jimmys for £250 for both cylinders and wasn\'t able to find anywhere else in the uk.

Thats the right money,
New and replacement parts in this country are a scandalous price.
Even second hand parts,( unless you can get them off a member of this forum...we tend to look after each other) will cost you an absolute fortune.
I\'m still struggling to get a rear radius arm for my car at a reasonable price.
Considering that there\'s less than 200 of these cars left in the country and demand for 2nd hand parts is only just slightly more than nil, the prices some people are demanding for used parts is barmy.
I see someone is asking 15 quid for a second hand 1st gen wiper arm on Ebay.
I bet he\'s not fighting off enquiries for that.
