Hi All,

Been doing a fair bit of research into emissions regs as it\'s MOT time tomorrow. This is what I\'ve come up with for what it\'s worth.

Cheers

Angus

Angus, thanks very much for putting this information up!! ;)

My Rex went for it\'s first MOT yesterday and failed on the emissions. However from reading this thread before hand I was able to point out to the MOT tester than since my car was first registered April 92 it could be tested as if it didn\'t have a CAT - even though it does. He re-tested it and it passed!! :D

Cheers, thanks a lot buddy!

I thought the UK cars (pre june/july) even though fitted with cats where not cat tested as they are pre regulation?? ie 3.5% hydrocarbons etc....

I\'m not sure what the dealis mate... I just asked the MOT tester to re-test it with the pre-August 92 test, and he did.

Sookay, just me pre MOT panicking!
