Quote from: BlitzBoy;662499might be worth getting all your injectors flow tested, more and more problems with poor flowing injectors due to their age will occur

Understand your anger however one thing is for sure in that something caused this and the last thing you need is to loose another,

Has this engine been stripped or is this an observation from the outside

were your primary injectors checked and flowed at the same time?

when I was still running 550 primaries years ago one of them were found to be underflowing to the rear rotor

Especially if this is a trailing plug we are talking about I can\'t see how this could take the engine out :o,

I know this is tough but trust me piston engines can die as well, I know this from losing many engines over the years while I was racing and it taught me that its always important to find the cause.

You say this is the third engine you have lost so I would say its now important to find out that your not dealing with some sort of vehicle fault that can be related to the other failures.

For instance one often over looked item is the engine wiring loom, indeed I know of more than one person that\'s lost multiple engines and it was due to the loom and not the engine at all !

Mind you I have wondered if this is something as simple as a boost spike in this very cold weather ?

a good mate had a 2nd hand 4.5 cerb a Tuscan and a chimera over 4 years with no problems apart from the day he bought the tuscan which was brand new the accelerator cable snapped.

matt p

This will make you laugh then,

A week after my uncle picks up his brand new 05 plate Sagaris funnily enough the same thing the accelerator cable snaps.

3 weeks after getting it back he goes for a hoon up the M11 which the guys down here will know that its a naughty stretch of road lol, puts in 5th and his mate flashes him saying the bloody reverse light comes on:rollin

Id still own a Sag, stunning cars with that sound of the straight six made it awesome :)

My uncle had TVR\'s for 12 years-mostly Chimera 4\'s, I remember him saying they grab your soul (bit like a rex!) but you just gotta view it like a naughty puppy and when it breaks down you just shake your head and accept the consequences! Beautiful cars though and that sound........:InLove

DR SCHNITZEL

My soul needs grabbing and a rx on axle stands isnt doing it for me at the moment especially in this cold weather cos i cant fix the bloody thing. hope my engine lasts a while this time
