its just that when i connect the starter and turn the key it keeps on spinning. even when i turn the key off and take it out. so im quessin the solenid must be stuck. but how would the circuit be complete even when the key is in off position?

jon103a

when you stop cranking and the starter still turns have you still got power at the solinoid wire(cranking), can you check with the wire diconected? jon.

rxheaven

yes it still sparks like fireworks

jon103a

have you checked the starter relay, is the relay sticking or is there still a switch feed after cranking?

rxheaven

yes i think ur right i will check the relay this wud explain y the solenoid has power even in off position

jon103a

even if the relay is ok it will give you a direction to look in, if the ignition(crank) feed is still preasent when the key has been released you know the crank circuit is to blame and if not you can check the supply and output circuits terminal 30 and 87. i still think it would be worth while eliminating the turbo timer, was it in and working when the car was auto and is it def outputing on the ignition circuit since the rewire to manual. jon
