If the front wheel are 9 ich wide and the rears 10 inch wide will these look ok on a standard rx7 17"?? 255 rear 225s front? :Tongue1

Indeed what is acceptable offset is 40 too much?

You won\'t fit +5 9\'s and 10\'s on stock arches, especially not with a full width rear tyre. If you ran a 225 on the rear with a roll and slight pull you could jsut about tuck them, depending on the alignment.

et40 would fit with those wheel and tyre widths, it\'d be a \'safe\' fitment.

Cheers mate, i take it that them being 10 inches wide will make the problem worse with a +5 offset?

+12 offset is the most ive seen on 17\'s, mine are +25 on 9.5" rims

Tyre width is far more important than wheel width then you\'re talking inner lip clearance (which is the issue with lower offset wheels). Rim width doesn\'t make much of a difference with the same size tyre, maybe a few mm because of the shoulder shape.

I\'ve run 9.5 +10\'s and it was tight on the front.
+5 is maybe just about do-able with a 225 and some heavy camber on the front, but the rears would need full on Bippu spec camber, and a big roll and flare, which imho looks gash, especially on a curvy car like the FD.

Great nice one for that. im running near standard height too.rears were 255s
