The joys of living in the uk. It\'s nearly always wet!! lol. With recent weather being an absolute pain, I was greeted to some nice wet carpets in my EGi. It looks as though the water has forced it\'s way through the bottom of the door seal with the aid of strong winds, where the seal rubber is tucked behind the sill cover. It might be a little far fetched, but this is what it looks like. The bottom of the door card is soaked, but the drainage holes are clear! Has anyone else had this problem?

Thinking of getting a price for a whole new set of door rubbers, both door and car seals as mine are pretty old now. Fingers crossed that should cure the problem.

Any help would be grand :)

Think it might be from the top of the seal where it leaks,
Mine did it if the door wasnt shut properly.:Grrr

Test it, get in and get someone with a hose and see where it drips!:)

Im currantly suffering from the same problem as my carpets were wet after a good shower.
I found out that the water was leaking through from the window seal on the outside.
Its probably leaking through the inner door card and leaking out through the bottom on the door card.
I sealed mine with sealant and plastic sheeting and relocated my door speakers.

I\'ll have a go with the in car test the weekend me thinks :Thumbs-up

Good call on the window seal, didn\'t even consider that one! Will have a good look over the seals when I get the chance. Thanks for the help guys :cheers

another good place to check is the drain holes on the rear hatch. Had them clog up in both my fc\'s, you end up getting water in the wheel well, the jack storage place and the rear seats! they\'re easy enough to clear out with an old clothes hanger.

though i seem to be having a larger problem with traction :D
