mis-firing.

was out in the rex a few week ago started to misfire after a few seconds it went away thought nothing of it been out in it again today for a hr or so and its started mis-firing all the time no smoke at all jus lots of splutter n bangs anyone point me in the right direcion thanks very much gaz...

u got an Ignition AMP? my mates did the same it was faulty/dead.

no its not standred single turbo conversion power fc etc...was going to try plugs and leads tomorrow....

has it lost power?? is it idling normal??

basically just check hoses, pipes etc for splits or loose. check the pipes to the map sensor next to the abs.

failing that if your not too technical get pip to check it out at WGT

idle is really rough it still moves but sounds like its running on 3 if it had pistons.....

Might be a faulty coil pack, hard to diagnose of zee internet.

i would almost say either its cracked/broken a tip or the pipes have come off to the map sensor.

do you have a boost gauge?? when its idling, check to see if its pulling a constant vac and not boucing around.

99.99% plugs
