is it possible to reset the standad ecu andif so how do u do it and does it have to be reprogrammed? cheerz yappa

No the standard ECU uses an Eprom so the map is fixed it can\'t be reset, Only thing that can be reset is the error codes. In the UK nobody seems to bother/know how to re-write the ecu\'s map using a daughter bord. The Japs however do quite often!

Just disconnect the battery for a lil while and it will reset and clear codes. Doesnt need to be reprogrammed.
