hello guys, i am quite well on with my single turbo conversion and was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions?
the old plugs from the rats nest, do these get taken care of during remapping or do i need to link them out?(dead short them?) also airpump and boost sensor plugs, what do i do with them?
advice will be greatly appreciated.Darren

if you use apexi they ignore the fact there not connected where as standard e.c.u will fall into limp mode !

you can make a custom loom or just leave the plugs dangling

for tidyness sake i would like them gone. running a standard ecu at the minute can i just cut them out and get the ecu remapped? do i have to keep any of the solenoids connected from the original twin turbo setup? ie fuel pressure regulator solenoid? cheers

marco

err if you are going single turbo you are going to need a new ecu. the apexi connects straight into the loom, and you can cut out the connections you dont need without sticking a resistor in, but make sure you keep the ones you do need!

if your using standard e.c.u leave the solenoids connected but not plumbed in ! if you drive it id get a wideband it dosnt take much to max your dutys oh and a decent fpr but stic\\k with low boost until you can get your over bits

does anyone have the fuel pressure regulator solenoid part number?
