Apexi S-AFC

HI,
Has anyone got any experiance with fitting this into a jap import 93 FD. It was in my FC, and had no problém with it. Fitted it into my mates car today, and am not getting any pwer through to the screen. Checked all connections, and power is present and correct. Could there be any difference in the ECU wireing between the car and the diagram issued on the Apexi site?
 Any advice appreciated.
