over the next few weeks i am going to attemp to respray most panels on my rx7 fd i am pretty good when it comes to practical things like this but i have never done this before anybody know of any walk throughs or got any tips and i\'ve heard all the sarcastic remarks like take it to a body shop!! it\'s pz black and i intend to rub the panels down and just put a fresh coat of paint and lacuer over them that sound about right?

All i can say mate is preperation is key when spraying anything.

as you\'ll see from my first gen next week, don\'t ask me to do it when hungover with a bad back, in a single garage, on the spur of the moment.... *lol*  But there are some great blogs and pages online from people who have done just this for the first time, and the lessons they have learned.  Good luck!!

I\'ve only ever done matt colours but, you need a moisture free enviroment and warmer the better.

as said above preperation is the key.
