Hi,

The clutch on the egi is buggered:(,but i don\'t  know weather a tII clutch would fit an egi or not??
I don\'t really wana spend out on an egi clutch when im looking to swap my lump for a T11 this winter so just wondering if the two are interchangeable or not?? thanks

dthebuk

MRP might be able to help as they sell both types of clutches

Also make sure it is the clutch and not the master cylinder as they are notorious for failing. Worth a really good bleed just in case.

yeah thats a point, ill have a look.I sent MRP an email and they got back to me in good time saying--

Hi Adam,

I know the part numbers are different but this is probably the clamping force of the pressure plate,

From memory one will fit the other, best bet is to lay them side by side to make sure,

Also you will need to use the release bearing from the TII if you do use the TII Clutch,

It would maybe be an idea   to ask  this question out on Mazdarotaryclub.com as well

  Hope this helps

so i think ill have a look round for a 2nd hand egi clutch if it isn\'t the master cylinder.Although i was doing a fair amount of \'\'clutch kicking\'\' before hand. God that sounds gay...JDM Tight Yo....

i can send you my old TII clutch if you wish? You wont be able to use it though, it got worn all the way down to the rivets

wow,did it rite the flywheel off??

dthebuk

nope, was surprisingly good. Destroyed the clutch cover though. It just stopped working all of a sudden when it went. The last thing i expected was needing a new clutch :P
